A Welcome From the Headteacher

On behalf of the staff, governors and children at Barlow Hall I would like to welcome you to our school.

I have been Headteacher at Barlow Hall since September 2005 and am very privileged to work with our children, families and staff. I am strongly committed to working with families and school professionals and know we will achieve for all our children.

Barlow Hall Primary School is located in Chorlton, Manchester. We are one of the fastest improving schools in Manchester. Our staff team have worked very hard to achieve our school’s improvement and we are very proud of our children.

We currently have 280 children on roll and we operate mainly, as a one to one and a half form entry school.

Barlow Hall is a rich and diverse school community. We have wonderfully talented children from a range of different backgrounds. We are all committed to working together to enable children to achive their very best. We believe that the best learners are those who enjoy what they are doing and are happy. At Barlow Hall we work with children from the ages of three to eleven in three key stages.

Nursery and reception children (3 to 5 year olds) in our Foundation Stage. Children in Year 1 and 2 (5 to 7 year olds) in our key stage 1. Children in years 3,4,5 and 6 in our key stage 2 (7 to 11 year olds).
